“ The Story
SmyrnaThe Smyrna Historical Society is a volunteer-driven organization operating the Smyrna History Museum and Train Depot, situated adjacent to the city’s vibrant Market Village. The museum houses thousands of municipal artifacts documenting the evolution of the “Jonquil City” since its incorporation in 1872. History enthusiasts can engage with their civic heritage by taking a guided tour, donating historical Smyrna photographs and artifacts, or volunteering their time to staff the museum.
