The Silver Comet Trail is one of Georgia’s premier outdoor attractions, beginning right here in Smyrna at the Mavell Road Trailhead. This 61.5-mile paved trail is perfect for walking, running, bicycling, and rollerblading. Built on an abandoned rail line, the trail offers a relatively flat and scenic route that stretches all the way to the Alabama state line.
